Can I choose which body shop repairs my vehicle?
Insurance & EstimatesYes. In California, an insurer cannot require your vehicle to be repaired at a specific automotive repair dealer. You may select Sunroad Collision Center or another repair facility.
Tell your insurance representative which shop you have selected and provide the shop’s information during the claim process.
What if the insurance estimate is lower than Sunroad’s estimate?
Insurance & EstimatesBring the insurance estimate with you. Our team can review the differences and, when appropriate, contact the insurance company about repair items or costs that need to be addressed.
Additional approved charges are commonly handled through a supplemental estimate during the repair process.
What is a deductible, and when do I pay it?
Insurance & EstimatesA deductible is the portion of a covered repair that your insurance policy requires you to pay. The amount is set by your policy.
The deductible is paid directly to Sunroad Collision Center when the repairs are complete. The insurer pays its approved portion of the repair separately.
What are OEM parts?

Insurance requirements can vary by policy and claim, so confirm any claim-specific steps directly with your insurer.
What happens if additional damage is found?
