Sunroad Collision Center Warranty

Repair Warranty Information

Review the warranty coverage for eligible parts, bodywork, and paintwork completed by Sunroad Collision Center, along with the conditions and steps required to request warranty service.

Coverage Overview

What the Repair Warranty Covers

Coverage depends on the type of repair or part involved. The summaries below are followed by the complete conditions and exclusions.

Replacement Parts

Parts carrying a manufacturer’s or distributor’s warranty remain subject to that warranty. Eligible Sunroad-supplied parts without separate coverage are warranted against defects for one year after the repaired vehicle is returned.

Bodywork

Bodywork completed by Sunroad Collision Center is warranted against defects for as long as the customer who owned the vehicle when repairs were completed continues to own it.

Paintwork

Paintwork is warranted against detectable defects for as long as the original repair customer owns the vehicle, subject to the exclusions described below.

Parts With a Manufacturer or Distributor Warranty

If Sunroad Collision Center installs a part that carries its own manufacturer’s or distributor’s warranty, that separate warranty controls both the coverage terms and duration for the part.

If the part fails, the manufacturer or distributor is responsible for honoring its warranty. Sunroad Collision Center will attempt to assist the customer with presenting the warranty claim.

Sunroad-Supplied Parts Without Separate Coverage

A part supplied by Sunroad Collision Center that does not carry a separate manufacturer’s or distributor’s warranty is warranted to be free from defects for one year from the date the vehicle is returned after repairs are completed.

During that period, Sunroad Collision Center may, at its discretion, repair or replace the covered part without charging labor for that repair or replacement.

Bodywork Coverage

Bodywork performed by Sunroad Collision Center is warranted against defects for as long as the owner at the time of repair continues to own the vehicle.

If Sunroad Collision Center determines that the bodywork contains a covered defect, the defect will be repaired without charge.

Paintwork Coverage and Exclusions

Paint applied by Sunroad Collision Center is warranted against detectable defects for as long as the owner at the time of repair continues to own the vehicle.

The paint warranty does not cover deterioration caused by:

  • New damage or impact
  • Normal road wear
  • Chemical exposure
  • Unusual environmental causes
  • Lack of care or maintenance

Rust repairs do not carry a bodywork or paintwork warranty.

Ownership, Location, and Damage Limitations
  • Warranty repairs must be performed by Sunroad Collision Center.
  • The warranty applies only to the person who owned the vehicle when the original repairs were completed and is not transferable.
  • The warranty does not cover damage to a repaired area or part when the damage is caused by another area or part that Sunroad Collision Center did not repair.
Other Warranty and Damage Limitations

Sunroad Collision Center makes no warranties beyond the coverage described on this page. The warranty is provided in place of other express or implied warranties available under California law, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness.

Sunroad Collision Center disclaims liability for consequential damages, including reimbursement claims for loss of use, replacement transportation, or rental-car charges, except for the specific loaner-car support described below when a covered defect is confirmed.

Loaner Vehicle and Towing Support

If Sunroad Collision Center confirms a defect covered by the warranty, a loaner vehicle will be provided while the warranty repairs are performed.

If the vehicle is disabled because of a covered part or repair, towing to Sunroad Collision Center may be provided from a location less than 50 miles away.

Call Sunroad Collision Center before arranging or paying for towing. Towing charges will not be reimbursed without prior approval.

Warranty eligibility is determined after Sunroad Collision Center inspects the vehicle and reviews the original repair documentation.
